Kino Proby, the World's Greatest Tribute Band to Viktor Tsoy and the legendary Russian rock band KINO, return for a set of highly-anticipated reunion shows in Maine, Massachusetts and New York City.

Kino Proby transforms Tsoy's powerful songs about the disillusioned and angry Russian youth from the late 1980’s Soviet era into a vodka-fueled rock show, complete with blazing guitar solos, on-stage theatrics, sweat and blood, tight leather pants, blood and sweat, lighter-worthy ballads, and of course an all-encompassing and genuine love for all things Russian. Kino Proby's loyal and ever-increasing fandom of Russians and Americans alike will tell you it's a show not to be missed, as you will dance, you will sing along, you will celebrate and rejoice, and besides, you never know when the next will be.

Viktors I, II and III (aka Jarlath McGuckin, Adam Kurtz and Jess Greer), formed the band in 2004 and played their highly-addictive tribute act extensively throughout New England until 2006 when Viktor I moved to Russia. They have since been relegated to performing only when all Viktors are in the same place at the same time. Lucky for the world, this cosmic alignment is happening in July.

The band’s lasting power speaks not only to how fun the shows are (they are interactive and dance-inducing), but also how unique and meaningful the evenings are to native Russians who don’t get a lot of Russian music in the states. One fan, Margarita, said: "We're very thankful to Kino Proby for bringing our favorite Russian music to us!” Another after a show in Brighton, MA, told the guys that she felt her lifelong hope to see KINO live (which is impossible since Viktor Tsoy died in 1990) had at last been fulfilled.

Kino Proby won the Portland Phoenix's coveted “Best Band in the World” award in 2009, and looks to prove they are still the kings of Russian shreddery with this 3-day World Tour.
