KINOPROBY is unlike any band you ever seen: three Americans who fell in love with KINO while learning to speak Russian in Victor Tsoy's hometown of St Petersburg.

They interpret the songs in a way that maintains the passion of the originals, but adds a little rock'n'roll kick. Dancing is unavoidable, singing along to your favorite Kino songs is encouraged, and the joy of enjoying Tsoy's incredible music is infectious.

More about the band:

Jarlath (aka Viktor I), Adam (aka Viktor II) and Jess (aka Viktor III) started the group in 2004 and have been playing Tsoy's songs since then mostly in Boston and Portland, Maine, but also in upstate New York and in St Petersburg, Russia in 2007. Kino Proby is a three piece, with a simple set up of guitar, bass, and drums. A typical Kino Proby show consists of two long sets, all of KINO songs, culled from the best songs off "45" all the way to "Chernii Album". Have a favorite KINO song you've never heard live?
